- Mate-led ceremony with full legal service — from $950. Your mate leads the ceremony; I handle all the legal requirements, paperwork and attend on the day.
- Celebrant-led ceremony — from $1,150. I run the whole ceremony myself, start to finish.

Why not just book a "legals only" celebrant?
You can — and it can cost less. But "legals only" usually means the celebrant turns up, says the legal words and leaves. Your mate is on their own writing and running the ceremony. I tried that hands-off approach early on and learnt it puts a lot of pressure on someone who's never done a wedding. Married by a Mate is built around preparing your mate properly so the ceremony runs well.
